Hi! I'm Erika Collins

Photographer + Storyteller

I’m a Dahlonega, Georgia photographer drawn to the kind of moments you wish you could bottle up—the way your baby fits against your chest, little hands reaching for yours, wind catching a dress, belly laughs, bare feet, growing bellies and all the beautiful in-between moments that make your story yours.

As a North Georgia maternity, newborn, motherhood, family and senior photographer, my work is rooted in connection rather than perfection. I want your session to feel less like posing for photographs and more like stepping into a scene from your own life. We’ll wander through fields, chase beautiful light, explore rivers and mountains, embrace movement and let the moments unfold naturally. For my tiniest clients, my Dahlonega newborn studio offers a quiet, intimate space to document those first fleeting days with the same organic, story-driven approach.

As a mom of three boys, I know how quickly one season becomes the next. That’s why I’m not interested in simply documenting what your family looks like right now. I want to preserve what it feels like.

My goal is to create cinematic, emotive photographs that tell your story—images filled with movement, personality and connection that transport you back to this exact chapter years from now.

Because someday, these won't just be photographs. They'll be proof of how it all felt.

My approach is rooted in storytelling—creating photographs filled with movement, connection and the beautifully imperfect moments that make a season of life feel like yours.

From barefoot maternity sessions beside a North Georgia river and golden evenings in the mountains to quiet newborn mornings, adventurous family sessions and editorial senior portraits, each experience is intentionally shaped around beautiful locations, natural emotion and genuine connection. I photograph families and seniors throughout Dahlonega, Cumming, Alpharetta, Milton, Johns Creek and the greater North Georgia and North Atlanta area, with sessions designed to feel less posed and more like stepping into a scene from your own story.
