Buford Georgia Milestone Photographer- Ava and Mia One Year Cake Smash

I know I say it all the time, but I absolutely love being known for being a go to twin photographer in the North Georgia area. Kelly and Luke reached out to me last year to do their maternity photos, and I was so excited when I found out they were having twins! Ava and Mia were so sweet and adorable even then. They came in for fall photos last year as well, but it’s been a while since I’ve seen them.

Ava and Mia are technically fraternal twins, but man you can’t tell by looking at them. That was definitely what I noticed first off. We decided to do some family and generational photos along with the cake smash pictures because we had the pleasure of having one set of grandparents be able to tag along to the session.

We let the girls get comfortable by playing in the front room with matching stuffed animals. We then took pictures of all three generations on the couch. This couch makes for such warm and natural lifestyle pictures. After getting a few pics with mom and dad and then just the grandparents, we moved on to the real show.

We changed the girls into adorable lacy boho outfits that Kelly then donated to my client closet! Again we let the girls get used to their surroundings and they just played around on the backdrop while I took some pictures of them in action. We took a couple more family photos for good measure and then we pulled out the cakes! After a little hesitation the girls went for it even shoving their faces into the cakes. Such a fun time.
