Dahlonega Georgia Maternity Photographer- Kelly Clare Outdoor Maternity Mountain Session

It’s always so interesting and special how clients find my work. Kelly and her husband Ashton live in Alabama and they were wanting mountain pictures for their first baby’s maternity photos. So they looked around online and found my website!

So, this sweet couple decided to come for a whole weekend. I have amazing recommendations for places to stay if you want to come in from out of town! Kelly added on hair and makeup to her session to feel extra pampered and she tried on dresses at the studio before we headed out to our destinations.

Kelly started out in a beautiful cream off the shoulder gown and we started our session at Lake Zwerner Reservoir. Even though it’s on a main thoroughfare in town, it has such a beautiful backdrop and makes for beautiful pictures every single time. We were able to capture some beautiful pictures of Ashton and Kelly on the bridge and walking around the area.

Kelly then changed into a gorgeous rust boho gown using my portable changing room and we traveled over to my favorite local mountain view! We got some amazing pictures of Kelly then we added a cream hat to her outfit and we took a few more pictures of the couple. Her cream ankle cowboy boots were so perfect for the rustic look I always aim for.

Finally Kelly changed into a lacy boho gown and we captured some beautiful pictures with the last bit of golden hour left. My favorite of this session was one of Kelly and Ashton under the signal tree with a gorgeous autumn half moon rising. These are the magic moments I live for during my sessions!

The couple purchased two large floating canvases for their home. I love being able to offer so many options to my clients to fit their lives and needs.
