Decatur Georgia maternity photographer- Manci and Hinal’s outdoor session

Sometimes the weather cooperates for an outdoor session. Other times it does not. Manci and Hinal drove over an hour away to meet me up at Montaluce Winery to take pictures for their Dahlonega Georgia maternity photo session. Unfortunately, this was in the middle of about a two week straight rainy streak. However, it looked like the weather might hold out.

We were able to get a few incredible pictures with a beautiful stormy sky in the background before the bottom fell out and it was pouring rain on us. So, we had to reschedule. I am so happy we were able to get the photos we captured, but it turns out it was even better that we met up again. For our second session we met at The Edge of the World in Dawsonville Georgia. These two incredibly different backdrops made for such a variety in options for Manci and Hinal to choose from. Check out my blog on my favorite locations to find out more about these two!

While at Montaluce Manci wore a beautiful lace boho gown from my client closet and a flower crown. When we met back up at Edge of the World in Dawsonville Georgia we were able to get in a few more outfits from my client closet.

We started out with a natural off the shoulder boho dress for some beautiful shots in front of the water and on the rocks. I always bring along my portable changing room that I love to provide for all of my offsite sessions. So, Manci was able to change easily into a fitted elegant black gown for some photos of the couple on the walkway to the water that has a beautiful wooded backdrop. Finally Manci changed into a natural halter dress and we used some gold on her arms to add an extra oomph effect. For this she actually got in the water for some breathtaking shots.

Manci and Hinal purchased two 11x14 modern black framed photos and they are going to add to that to complete a grid gallery once their newborn is here!
