Northeast Georgia Maternity Photographer- Megan and Kyle’s Outdoor and Studio Session

Megan and her husband Kyle are local to the area. They met online a few years ago, and Kyle works at the nearby Atlanta Motorsports Park. They are expecting their first baby boy and they wanted a beautiful outdoor backdrop for their maternity session. Megan really wanted to pamper herself so she added on hair and makeup as well as a studio session to their outdoor couple photo session.

After Megan’s hair and makeup were done, it was time to travel outdoors, and I took Megan and Kyle over to Montaluce Winery. I’ve been coming here for a while now, and have been able to find some truly magical spots to capture a couple’s personality. Megan wore a red Bohemian gown with lace trim and we started off at a rocky creek next to a stone bridge in the woods. This spot always looks so magical and straight from a fairy tale.

Next Megan changed into a beautiful flowery gown and we moved to the vineyard area. We made the most of the golden hour and we were able to capture some beautiful photos of Megan and Kyle with the vineyard and mountains in the background. Finally she changed into one of my favorite gold velvet gowns and we were able to get some beautiful pictures of the couple on the steps in front of the building and some of Megan lying in a field of gorgeous purple wild flowers.

After the outdoor part was done, we traveled back to the studio and started off with some beautiful sage green material draping. I love to do this on the gray backdrop to keep that neutral feel with pops of color. Then Megan changed into a beautiful beige robe from my client closet to get some more intimate lifestyle pictures to really make her feel beautiful. This created the perfect ending to her outdoor and studio session.

Megan and Kyle loved all the different options we were able to capture, and they purchased half of a 6 piece gallery and a 10x10 heirloom album. They have already scheduled their newborn session and they will be completing their gallery once baby boy is here!
