Roswell, Georgia Maternity Photographer- Edwin and Meliah Mendoza’s Outdoor and Studio Session
Edwin contacted me a few months ago. He and his wife Meliah are expecting their first baby, a little boy, and he wanted to take all the stress off of her by planning their maternity photo session. They traveled in from Alabama and they wanted to capture an earthy and mountain outdoor backdrop as well as an editorial studio style. I aim to please and off we went!
First off I took Edwin and Meliah to my favorite local spot for the mountains. Meliah started off in a gold bohemian gown and we took advantage of the “golden” hour in front of the mountains. Edwin kept it casual in jeans and a blue velvet blazer. Then Meliah changed into a lace cream gown using my portable changing station. We took a few pictures in the road before moving to my favorite signal tree to continue the session.
Meliah changed one more time into a deep teal open gown and we were able to get some beautiful pictures of her belly. Edwin helped us to capture an iconic dress flip picture. We really turned up the drama for these pictures of Meliah and Edwin and then some of just Meliah with the mountains in the background.
It was time to drive back to the studio for the next part of our session. We had several outfit changes here as well. Meliah started off in a black luxury two piece dress for some stunning pictures of just Meliah then of Edwin and Meliah together. Next she changed into a sheer dress covered in beads for some more beautiful images.
Next we draped green material over Meliah for some really beautiful and dramatic photos. Finally Meliah changed into a gold beaded dress to finish off the session. We were able to get so many options and I love being able to provide that for my clients.
Meliah and Edwin loved all of the options I gave them and they purchased a 16x24 canvas and an 8x10 keepsake box.
