Blairsville, Georgia maternity photographer- Morganne’s mountain maternity photoshoot
With it being winter time and all the leaves being gone, it makes me miss all the color and excitement with warm maternity sessions that I normally get to deliver. Since winter time is slow for pregnancies and I get a lot of mommas wanting something indoors in my studio because of the drab winters- I thought I would share one of my favorite sessions from back when I sparked a passion for maternity photos. This session was in the dead of winter in January at Vogel State park.
Morganne and her family were such troopers to make the walk to this perfect spot and we were actually on our way down to the waterfall when we stopped to enjoy this view. With the sun being so harsh, I said- “lets try a silhouette shot but that sun is so harsh I’m not sure if it will actually turn out so manage your expectations”
Well As you can see, the sun was on our side because these photos turned out to be some of my favorites of all time and I get requests to go here so often. It’s a bit of a drive for my North Georgia clients but it is SO worth it and its a pretty flat walk to get to this location.
I love how the warm sun turned into such a pretty bluish dusk with the waterfall and all the roots showed through for such pretty winter details.
