Brookhaven Georgia Maternity Photographer- Ivy and Trey’s Outdoor Session

Ivy and Trey were referred to me by a previous client. They are expecting their first baby, a little boy. She reached out to me when she was in her second trimester to go ahead and book her maternity photos. They knew they wanted to do outdoor maternity photos, so I decided to take them to one of my favorite spots at Montaluce Winery.

Ivy came in an absolutely adorable cream sweater dress and boho hat. Trey kept it casual in a brown pullover sweater and jeans. To begin with we took some photos of this super sweet couple in the woods around the winery. There’s a unique concrete bridge that makes such a great backdrop along with the setting sun.

Next Ivy changed into a rich green dress from my client closet and Trey changed into a white dress shirt with blazer. For these photos we took some close-ups and some wider shots in front of the vineyards. Because I always try to time my photo shoots with the sun and the golden hour, we were able to capture some beautiful sun shots in the background.

Finally Ivy changed into a fitted and elegant black off the shoulder gown and we took some photos around the buildings. Montaluce has an incredible restaurant and tasting room, and there are so many places around to grab a dramatic picture. We took some pictures of just Ivy and of Ivy and Trey together. Some of my favorites are when Ivy draped Trey’s blazer over her shoulders. It was a beautiful addition to her already beautiful styling.

The excited first time parents purchased a 16x20 acrylic and a 10x10 heirloom album to commemorate their pregnancy with each other and their family for many years to come.
