Buckhead Georgia Newborn Photographer- Addison’s Newborn Studio Session
Taylor and Matt have been clients of mine since I first started down the photography path. They reached out to me in the fall to do their baby announcement photos. We traveled to Edge of the World for these adorable photos. Taylor scheduled their newborn session for baby Addison at the same time. They also wanted to do some new studio family photos with baby Addison and big sister Ellie. So I have been looking forward to meeting this new addition to their family for quite some time now!
Addison was just precious and she stayed nice and sleepy throughout the session. We started off like I always like to in the front lifestyle room. We dressed Addison in a light blue textured wrap with a lacy wrap on top. We completed the look with a flower crown to match. We got some beautiful photos of the family’s hands around their new family member and some pictures of Ellie with Addison. Ellie was so excited to also get to wear a flower crown to match her baby sister.
Next we draped Addison in a beige wrap and then a green wrap for some sweet detail and close-up pictures. We even added a small heart as a prop. Then we really went all out and dressed Addison in one of my new favorite outfits, a soft white bear sleeper with bonnet. I love how precious and doll-like this little outfit makes her look!
We finished up with all the family photos. We moved to the backdrops for these photos, and we were able to get some really beautiful pictures of Taylor and Matt with baby Addison, and some of the whole family together. Adding family photos is such a good idea when you are doing a newborn session, as it is truly a special time to commemorate.
Taylor and Matt loved all their photos. They purchased a 5x5 leather photo album, a 24x36 canvas print of the family and a 16x20 acrylic of baby Addison. These prints match ones they purchased when Ellie was born!
