Gainesville Georgia Maternity Photographer- Naiara Alves’s Outdoor Session

I have had the privilege to photograph this beautiful mama several times now. She first found me last fall when she was expecting her first baby. We met at my favorite local mountain spot for some extraordinary pictures. Then I got to photograph her again with her TWIN sister who was also pregnant! I was so inspired with these beautiful ladies and their husbands and their mama. Then I got to take pictures of their sweet newborn Nikolas after he was born.

So imagine my surprise when she contacted me in the spring to let me know she was expecting again! I knew immediately that I wanted to do something different for this second shoot. I asked Naiara and her husband Filipe and they loved my idea.

I wanted to take pictures of this beautiful boho goddess and her family at my favorite local river spot at The Edge of the World. You will not find a more picturesque river setting with all the rocks and gentle rapids flowing around. We started our session by the river with pictures of the whole family. Filipe and baby Nikolas were matching in neutral casual clothes while Naiara wore a beige boho dress from my client closet. It was so fun to move around the park and to get to see the family playing together.

Of course I brought along my portable changing station, and Naiara changed into a gorgeous cream off the shoulder boho gown and we took some more family pictures of the family near the trees. I was also able to capture some beautiful images of Naiara with baby Nikolas. After that we moved back over to the river and captured some beautiful images of the mama and of the whole family again.

Finally, Naiara changed one more time into a lacy boho gown she wore at her FIRST maternity session with me last year and we played in the water! This is never a requirement but I do love it when my clients are willing to be adventurous to get some amazing pictures. One of my favorites is of Naiara placed perfectly in front of the rolling rocks behind her.

Naiara and Filipe purchased a 10x10 heirloom album and a matted framed print. They have also welcomed their second baby, another sweet little boy. I can’t wait to see what will be next for this wonderful family!
