Milton Georgia Milestone Photographer- Everlee’s One Year Cake Smash
Malia and her daughter Everlee have been coming to me for so long. I love these long lasting relationships where I get to come alongside a family from newborn to all the milestones. We decided to go with a flower theme and used colors in neutral pink, orange, yellow, and white.
Sweet Everlee was a little tired on the day of her session, but that is why I always have built in time to accomodate little ones. We kept our entire session in the back room with sets and backdrops. We started on my faux wood setup for a truly rustic vibe. We dressed Everlee in a cream cotton romper from my client closet and set up a bench and small rug for her to sit on and to play around.
Malia wanted to gift her grandmother a photo of Everlee for Christmas. We set up an old vintage photo of her with Everlee. It turned out so cute and it will definitely be a treasured heirloom.
Malia put on a rust colored bohemian gown from my client closet and we were able to capture some beautiful images of Malia and Everlee around the piano set. Everlee loved pulling up on the vintage suitcase and Malia loved looking on Everlee as she walked around and played with all the props.
Finally, it was time to pull the cake out. As always, the cake was provided by my favorite vendor Jamie Bakes. She made a beautiful cake with flowers just for Everlee. We changed Everlee into an adorable tutu romper and put her down to see what she would do. She liked the cake but she really loved her cake topper. She even knocked the cake over onto the backdrop. This upset Everlee, but Malia was able to get in on the action and we captured some precious moments between mother and daughter.
Malia loved all the different pictures we got and she purchased a 16x16 collage frame and an 8x10 trifold.
